‘Some borrowed money to look good at AMVCA7’

Nigerian Actress, Nkechi Blessing, has delivered a scathing attack at some of her colleagues in the industry.

She shared a video claiming that some of them borrowed money to look good while some, on the other hand, are indebted to the tailors who made their clothes.
Nkechi Blessings says that her smashing outfit at AMVCA7 didn’t cost her millions. Image: Nkechi Blessing
“I pity those who borrowed money for the AMVCA,” she said. “The ones that made designers cloths of millions. By now their eyes are clear. As for us, we don’t do more than our selves.”
She went on to say that she was able to look good on a budget, without having to spend millions.

It’s not clear who she’s directing her statements at. Indeed, several celebrities looked gorgeous and expensive.
Recall that we told you that Mike Edwards and Mercy Eke won the AMVCA best-dressed male and female respectively.
As a result, Mercy’s Celebrity designer Swanky Jerry and Toyin Lawani got into a serious argument after the latter suggested that the design didn’t deserve the award.
